The Professional Insurance Agents celebrate their 80th year!
PIA of Louisiana invites you to join us as we celebrate our 80th Convention. Motor on over to the beautiful grounds of the Marriott Grand Hotel in Point Clear, Alabama July 13-15, 2024. You are sure to have a bombdiggity good time!

Accommodations
Convention Registration will open at 3 pm on Saturday, July 13th and our first event, the Welcome Back Reception, will begin at 6:00 p.m. The hotel offers many rooming options starting at $244/night varied by building, room type and view. Rooms are expected to fill up quickly, so don’t dally in making your reservation. Hotel Check-In is 4:00 p.m. Additional hotel information may be found here.

First Timers & Agents Discounts
First Time Agents will receive a special discount on their convention registration fee. We will also continue to offer our Additional Agent First Timer Discount to the second and subsequent attendees from your agency. Contact the PIA Office for special discount codes prior to registering.

Agenda
Not much has changed on the agenda since last year… It’s already dope with times to network and chill! View the Tentative Agenda.

Exhibit Hall
We can’t wait to see you dressed in your legit 80’s garb for our Totally Rad Exhibit Hall. We also encourage our exhibiting companies to decorate their booths in the 80’s theme. Prizes will be awarded for Best Decorated Booth, Best Dressed Exhibitor and Best Dressed Attendee.

Education
This Convention, PIA offers you the opportunity to earn 9 hours of Continuing Education credit with a varied array of classes. Check the Agenda for specific details.

Rad Duds
Outside of the 80’s themed exhibit hall, attire for most convention events is resort casual. The General Session and Awards Luncheon are business casual attire. Remember, the meeting space temperature can be unpredictable. Be sure to stay comfortable by having a sweater or light jacket on-hand.
